    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Assist supervising attorney in representing nonimmigrant (H/O/L/E) and immigrant (FB & EB1-EB5) clients.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • Must be fluent in Chinese and English
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Experience in immigration law or paralegal certificate is a plus.
    • Ability to multitask, detail oriented
    • Must be able to work in a team environment
    • Work with min supervision
    • Able to work in Fort Lee, NJ and Edison, NJ.

    Song Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 to 3 years broad based experience in civil litigation and/or family law. In addition to excellent academic credentials, we are looking for someone with law firm experience. This position is located in our New Jersey Headquarter.

    Responsibilities
    - Assist senior associates with case management.
    - Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present legal strategies on behalf of clients.
    - Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of legal strategies.
    - Attend depositions and court conference.
    - Prepare and file necessary motions.
    - Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.

    Qualifications
    - Bar admission in New York and/or New Jersey.
    - Two to three years of experience in civil litigation and/or family law.
    - Effective communication skills sufficient to conduct investigations, to represent clients in hearings, meetings, negotiations or administrative proceedings.

    Job Description
    Song Law Firm has an opening for a trial attorney at our New Jersey Headquarters for a trial attorney to litigate cases in the New Jersey and New York area. This position is one that entails partnering with our clients to deliver the best possible results in pending litigation.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Independently and aggressively defend a full caseload of all ranges of litigation and premises liability from inception through trial.
    Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present legal strategies on behalf of clients.
    Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of legal strategies.
    Provide effective and timely information, legal advice and other services to clients on legal and factual issues.
    Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
    Complete the necessary steps to ensure prompt, efficient and effective disposition of assigned cases.
    Independently prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations and mediations.

    Qualifications
    A Minimum 10 + years of litigation experience with demonstrable verdict experience.
